Tuesday Tarot (Week of May 18th)

Some perspective, by sun sign.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

Ace of Wands

When you’re hunkered down like the true Tauran you are, inspiration has to meet you where you are at.  Don’t forget the part where you have to pick it up and see where it takes you. A new passion has the potential of emerging this week, so follow whatever flickers your interest, it could be the best idea you’ve ever had or it could be just passing through, its entirely up to you.

Gemini (May 21 – June 21)

Four of Swords

A body in motion stays in motion, and a body at rest stays at rest. But Gemini knows that you can be the girl who do both. As your birthday season approaches, the Four of Swords asks you to devote some time to resting up this week. Reserve your energy for when movement and drive and the good fight are necessary. The time to turn up will return but for now its nap time.

Cancer (June 22 – July 22)

Five of Swords

Words have power. Who amongst us has not had words spoken in a moment echo in our minds years later, cutting as deep as they did that day? No matter how true they are, words can influence how we see ourselves and our relationships with others.  Did I mention this works in both detrimental and beneficial ways? A simple compliment can improve your posture and change your mood.  Work on improving your personal narrative this week, keep it positive and productive.
Leo (July 23 – August 22) Nine of SwordsThe Nine of Swords shows up and anxiety, nightmares, insomnia, persistent worry and obsession. In true Leo fashion, things might feel existential this week, but they are not as bad as your mind might make them seem. We’ve all been there. Try to stay connected to the ground beneath you, talk it out with a trusted friend, sneak in peaceful moments in the clear night air before sleep and be gentler with yourself. These worries will dance their way out of your head in no time.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

King of Cups

Virgo is said to be a seductive sign, drawing admirers of every kind with their flawless beauty and golden touch. Beyonce is a Virgo. Need we say more? But what makes Beyonce so magnetic is not her obvious beauty, its the depth of her heart. Her passion is clear in what she creates and how fiercely she feels. Sound familiar?  The same could be said for you. You might be feeling your inner Beyonce this week. It could be anything from  “Don’t Hurt Yourself” Beyonce or “Drunk in Love” Beyonce. Whatever it is, just feel it.

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

King of Swords

Everyone needs a Libra in their life to help them keep it together. After all, it is how you show your love. But at the same time, if you ain’t balance, ain’t no one balanced. So, make sure you show yourself a little bit of your own kind of tender loving care this week: check the scales of your heart and mind, make sure they are where they need to be. Seek clarity and equilibrium in your day to day. It’s is what keeps your mood light and balanced. This is for the benefit of yourself and everyone around you. No one likes a moody Libra.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

Five of Pentacles

That thing you’ve been neglecting for so long? It was bound to happen but its finally withered and wasted away. You can mourn this for a moment but then it’s time to take some ownership for what it’s become. Don’t toss it out just yet. Once you re-engage that sense of responsibility you might see its not a loss cause. Give it the attention and love it needs to thrive and what it (and you) transform.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

Ace of Swords

An epiphany is coming in hot.  Whatever dawns on you this week has the potential to change your mindset.  Our mind can be the weapon we yield in battles of all types or the watering can that makes all things grow… neither are superior to the other. It is up to you how you use it and when, and what an empowering realization that can be. This is a good time to pursue to the cold, hard, beautiful truth of whatever comes to mind.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

Ten of Swords

Okay, Capricorn, as the saying goes: “it is done!” Your work here is done and it’s time to move on. You’ll be worse for the wear if you remain here and frankly you’ve overstayed your welcome. The Ten of Swords shows up when you haven’t heeded the loving advice of those who care for you dearly and you are suffering the promised consequences. Its all good though, you are breathing and better-than-ever is also promised once you feel empowered enough to release what’s hurting you.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

V – The Heirophant

Every relationship we enter is an agreement of give and take and also sometimes one that either leads or follows. While we naturally put our focus on those we are following, for obvious reasons, we should not forget that we are leading the way for someone else.  Those who are following you are by default following the person in front of you, so make sure you that you choose your leaders and wisely and their influence goes beyond your own intrigue.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

8 of Cups

This week look forward to a moment of clarity about something you can leave behind. Wanting more for yourself doesn’t mean that you are ungrateful it just means you know you deserve better. The heart wants what it wants but it cannot have both: what was and what will be. Sometimes you have to chose between one or the other. The hardest part is deciding. The actual release will likely be a sweet surrender.

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

Prince of Pentacles

You always feel your best in your most productive moments. This week you might have your hands in many things or just the one thing that means the most to you for now. Either way you will be highly efficient and the benefits will be plentiful. Hard work, determination and drive. There is nothing you can’t do. This time may not be a productivity competition but lets just say that you’ve already won.

These were originally & proudly written as an insta-series for Acacia and are shared here for you today. Come back next week for more.
