Nevertheless, The Crafters Persisted

Over our crafting we talked about life, holiday plans, beloved family and friends, desires and struggles. Our words and laughter drifted out and fell upon our working hands like the drizzling rain outside the tent. And when we would go home to hang the wreath, all the love and fun would be there, hanging up with against the fragrant branches and decorative bows. 

Let Her Be

So I was going to write this whole thing, about being a strong woman, but you know what, let’s take a moment and let her be what she will be, without calling it anything or trying to label it.

Lava and Water

We sat there for hours. Lava rock and water. Probably two hour, which is a lot for a child’s attention span, in silence, watching the puddles in the rock turn into tiny worlds right before our eyes.
